I Forgot My Username and/or Password

You can use the Forgot Password screen to retrieve BOTH your username and password.

Your password is case sensitive, that is, you must use the same capitalization to log-in that you gave when you registered.  For example, "PASSWORD" is not the same as "password".

I Can't Log In

We use cookies, which are small computer files that we transfer to your hard drive, to notify us when you return to one of our Neighborhoods.  This is why you should not need to log-in each time you visit the Neighborhood. Sometimes, cookies are blocked and this can interfere with the login process.  If you're having a problem logging in, here are some steps that might help.

Make sure HepatitisNeighborhood.com is a "trusted" site.

The following instructions apply to most modern versions of popular browsers.  In the event you require instructions for other browser types simply email us with a request and specify the web browser you are using.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open your browser and click the Tools button (gear icon) in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click on "Privacy" tab
  3. Click the " Sites" button
  4. In the "Address of Web site" type hepatitisneighborhood.com and then click the "Allow" button
  5. Click "OK" button on the window
  6. Click "OK" on next window
  7. Close web browser
  8. Open new web browser
  9. Visit www.hepatitisneighborhood.com and login

Firefox

  1. Open your browser and type "about:permissions" in the address bar
  2. Using the search box that appears on the page, find www.hepatitisneighborhood.com and select it from the list
  3. Make sure that "Set Cookies" is set to "Allow"

Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu (three bars icon) on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. At the bottom, Click Show advanced settings.
  4. In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
  5. In the "Cookies" section, Click "Manage Exceptions"
  6. Type "[*.]hepatitisneighborhood.com" under hostname and make sure "Allow" is selected
  7. Click "Done", the "Done" again.
  8. Close web browser
  9. Open new web browser
  10. Visit www.hepatitisneighborhood.com and login

Safari/Mac

  1. Open your browser and go to the Safari menu
  2. Select the sub-menu Preferences.
  3. Select the Privacy tab at the top of the window.
  4. Look under "Block cookies and other website data" and makes sure it's set to "From third parties and advertisers" or "Never"
  5. Close the Preferences window
  6. Close web browser
  7. Open new web browser
  8. Visit www.hepatitisneighborhood.com and login

Reset Your Computer Cookies.

Internet Explorer 9 and 10

  1. Open your browser and click the Tools button (gear icon) in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Go to Safety > Delete browsing history...
  3. Make sure Cookies (IE9) or Cookies and website data (IE10) is checked.
  4. Click Delete

Internet Explorer 7 and 8

  1. Open your browser and go to Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Under the General tab, find the Browsing History section. From here, you can decide whether to delete some or all cookies:
    1. To delete all cookies, uncheck the Preserve Favorite Website Data box, check the box next to Cookies.
    2. To selectively delete cookies, go to Settings > View Files. Select the cookies you wish to delete (hold down CTRL while clicking to make multiple selections).
  3. Click Delete

Firefox

  1. Open your browser and go to Firefox > Options (PC) or Firefox > Preferences (Mac). If you don't see the Tools menu, press Alt+T key to access Tools.
  2. Open the Privacy tab and click remove individual cookies.
  3. To delete all cookies, click Remove All Cookies.
  4. To delete specific cookies, select the cookies you wish to delete. Hold down CTRL while clicking to make multiple selections and press Remove Cookies.

Safari/Mac

  1. Open your browser and go to the Safari menu
  2. Select the sub-menu Preferences.
  3. Select the Security tab at the top of the window.
  4. Select "Show Cookies"
  5. Either remove cookies from selected websites or click "Remove All"

Mobile Safari for iPhone, iPad

  1. Go to Settings > Safari.
  2. Scroll down and tap Clear Cookies and Data.
  3. Tap Clear Cookies and Data to confirm.

Mobile Android

  1. Open the web browser and click on the menu button (three dots)
  2. Select "Settings" and then "Privacy"
  3. Click "Clear Browsing Data"
  4. Click "Clear"

  • What are the problems exactly or what were you attempting to do or access when you encountered this problem?
  • What type of computer are you using?
  • What Internet Service Provider (ISP) are you using?
  • What Operation System are you using?
  • What internet browser and version are you using?
  • Did you receive an error message? If so please reply with the exact error message if possible or a paraphrased version of it, so we may attempt to determine the cause.
